Hope everyone stays safe and healthy, sending blessings to all our friends and family! 🙏😇

With Covid-19, we are going to keep our 10 or less employees safe and not have an Open house 😷.

We are adhering to CDC guidelines with social distancing(at work and at home), wearing masks and gloves and washing hands frequently, sanitizing door handles, light switches, table tops, etc. We’re still working on getting a store front sign, so in the meantime theres just a print out on the door.

We are still open, we can fulfill your embroidery and screen printing needs! 👍
Our hours do vary on the ‘closing time’, so please call, text or email us with any questions, anytime🥰

What Designer Awards, Inc. is doing regarding the Covid-19 outbreak:

First and foremost, we sincerely hope that you and your families remain healthy and safe throughout this developing situation. Our thoughts and prayers remain with those families that have been impacted by this disease.

Besides embroidery and screen printing, which we sometimes do for local Fire Department and volunteer First Responders, we also ‘manufacture’ a product that is essential for a business in commercial and housing construction.

The rapid spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States has forced all of us to take the necessary steps to reduce the risk of spreading the virus in our communities where we work and to reduce the risk of exposure to our employees. As of today, we have no diagnosed cases of COVID-19 among our staff and we have implemented preventative measures to safeguard our employees. We continue to keep the safety and well-being of our employees as a top priority.

We supply our employees with mask, gloves and a set of clothes to wear over their own clothes (which we wash, here, in the warehouse at the end of everyday). While also, sanitizing all door handles and light switches, etc. multiple times a day. We have less than ten employees, adhere to social distancing, hand washing frequently and cleaning as per the CDC guidelines.

From the company we manufacture for: “Our production facilities in Arizona remain open and are operational as normal. While the governor of Arizona has not issued any form of shelter in place order (as of March 24, 2020), his office did release guidance last night on what is considered essential services in Arizona. Construction activities will be permitted to continue in Arizona if a shelter in place order is ultimately issued in Arizona.” Designer Awards, Inc. falls under essential manufacturing for construction. At this workplace, we perform work necessary to their operations.

Businesses that are considered “essential infrastructure operations” include food and beverage production, distribution and storage; CONSTRUCTION, building and grounds management and maintenance; airport operations. (1)

MANUFACTURE, distribution and supply chain for critical products and industries: Manufacturing companies, distributors and supply chain companies PRODUCING AND SUPPLYING ESSENTIAL PRODUCTS and services in and for industries such as pharmaceutical, technology, biotechnology, healthcare, chemicals and sanitizations, waste pickup and disposal, agriculture, food and beverage, transportations, energy, steel and steel products, petroleum and fuel, mining, CONSTRUCTION, national defense, communications as well as products used by other Essential Businesses and Operations. (2)

On March 30, 2020 Governor Doug Ducey, Arizona Department of Health Services Director Dr. Cara Christ, Superintendent of Public Instruction Kathy Hoffman and Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs Director Major General Michael T. McGuire issued a “stay home, stay healthy, stay connected” Executive Order to further slow the spread of COVID-19 while encouraging social connectedness. Additionally, the Governor and Superintendent Hoffman today announced the extension of Arizona school closures through the end of the school year. The extension follows updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and an announcement from the White House extending physical distancing guidelines until April 30, 2020. (3)

Designer Awards, Inc. will continue operating while adhering to the guidance of the CDC (ex: social distancing, hand washing and cleaning). (4)
